Snow Day

It was delightful on the beach!  

But the gaps between the snow showers was very brief and when you weren't somewhere sheltered from the vicious north wind, the feels-like temperature was something like -9C (and at one point I felt like I was recreating a scene from Scott of the Antarctic).

Otherwise most of the schools were closed, very few buses were running and driving was 'entertaining'.
