Over the Bridge 3
This little bridge is over the canal by the Preston Bagot lock in Warwickshire. It was a bright blue cold day today with icy sections of water. I have been lining up this wonderful little bridge for some time and it was more interesting close up than from the nearby road. I thought that it must be a very small version of Tower Bridge but I couldn't work out how it would lift.
Tedwin and Redilady told me that the slit up the two halves of the bridge was to allow the tow rope to follow the boat
