On The Chillier Side of Chilly!

Ottie told me it was -4 degrees this morning as I set about defrosting her...the Met Office informed me it felt like -11 degrees...my nose told me it was off the scale as it struggled to remain attached to my face!!

Today has been all about being a human onion. I've dressed just like an onion, it's all about the layers.

My classroom at school is a (long established) portakabin and therefore doesn't really do retaining heat, especially after a weekend when the storage heaters have not been on. So I went for the onion approach...

1 vest
1 long sleeved top
1 3/4 sleeved dress
1 cardigan
1 snood
2 pairs of 100 denier tights
1 school fleece

And for my evening stroll, what did I add? Well only...
1 pair of fur lined long length walking boots
1 fleece lined bobble hat
1 pair of leather gloves
1 pair of mittens
1 pair of fleece lined leggings
1 mid length coat with fur hood that was put up.

It worked a treat tonight, and tomorrow will bring more of the same! :-D
