Today is Martin Luther King Jr Day here in the US, a federal holiday. MLK lived from 1929 until his assassination in 1968. Here’s one of my favorite quotes of his: “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” • Bright sunshine helped balance another cold day, especially along the river. No mergansers or mallards but we were entertained by a gang of gulls. So many were scattered across the snow, all facing the same direction towards the setting sun. This one was perched on top of a sign post observing all his seagull brethren below. I liked this shot best in mono along with a sprinkling of effects from BeCasso • Peace & Love to you!
