THE MALTINGS

#After The Rev’s full English breakfast….delicious #we had a dip in the hot tub, a reading and puzzle session.
Just so nice for the 4 of us to just relax together.
#Then we drove into Snape to visit the Maltings…only about 15 mins away.
Originally to malt barley and ship it by Thames barge to London breweries now full of beautiful furniture, galleries and food stuffs most at very top end prices. Great for a look round. We had a cuppa and an expensive slice of cake!!!
#there were a few sculptures about so Sue was rather happy!!!

We then went on a walk along the Alde Estuary but turned back after we noticed the tide coming in and the walkway slowly getting submerged!!!
#in the evening we met up with a couple who we met in The Maldives last September. Hope the holiday friendship was still the same…phew…it was!! Lots of laughs from all 6 of us and a delicious meal too.
