River Aire

The River Aire starting its journey nr Malham Tarn. It disappears a few yards away from this photo at Water Sinks and reappears just down the road from Malham village.
It doesn’t re-appear at the foot of Malham Cove as most people think. That is Malham Beck.
As you can tell from this photo, it was bitterly cold up there!
