Bar delights

First for routine blood tests. Pretty cold, mitigated by bright sun and blue skies all day.

Then, encouraged, by the sunny start, I ***bravely*** took the plunge, and swam in the Nici's outside pool. As it's kept to ca. 30C you may not be that impressed. But I did have to get from the hotel to the pool and back in air temp. of 4C (feel like 0C).

Felt great to be back in the water, and even better after. Loosens up my joints. Should sleep well too. Must make the effort to go again this week - if the sun's out.

Blip is of the dehydrated fruits used for cocktails at the hotel bar. I hasten to say I had my usual ½ pint of Aspall Cider - I'm not a cocktail person.
