Mare Snaw Monday

A cold wind, some sunny spells and a lot of snow.  A lovely calm evening, with the odd snowy shower.

Up early, got ready for work.  Cleared the snow from the car, a slower drive to work in the airport.  Due to the weather conditions, we've had a busy day sorting out cancelled flights.  The mail plane got in, and the only passenger flight was Inverness/Kirkwall.  Hopefully have a more successful day of flying tomorrow.  A lovely night for walkies with Sammy, so peaceful now the wind has gone.  Fire on, feet up.

There was a good inch or so of snow when I got up this morning.  As I drove south to work, it did seem less around the place, but various drifts built up.  Heavy snowfall throughout the day has seen things get worse, with over three inches at home tonight.  More snow due tomorrow, right through to the weekend.  Let's hope everyone stays safe.  A quick stop on my way to work.  I had hoped for the perfect snow scene, but nowhere to stop safely.  Snow heading up to Flanderstoon, Cunningsburgh.
