Not Maldon prom

WFO and I took an early and extended break to pop to the town hall and see some of our parkrun team who had a stand at a community wellbeing event.

I spoke to a someone from a local GP surgery about becoming a parkrun practice and managed to get a free carbon monoxide alarm.  I also chatted with the 2 volunteers representing an alcoholic support group I was unaware of and to another visitor to the hall about her newly tattooed eyebrows, how she'd been scammed after her husband died (painfully during lockdown, after living 16 years with a parkinsons diagnosis), how her eyesight was failing, swimming and how she had spent Christmas in Tenerife with a wealthy widow she'd met through a dating app.
