Or Perran sands as it is often known, a beautiful bright sunny wander back to north Devon. St Ives was just about open if you wanted a pasty and coffee or simply to watch shops being refurbished for the next main influx of tourists. The A39 was clear and much more interesting and enjoyable than blasting along the A30.
