Manly

The journey was tough! 37 hours from Devon to Sydney. Taxi to Honiton road park & ride, national express bus to Heathrow. Direct flight with refuelling stop at Singapore ( 23 hours 20 ) plus an hour late due to faulty fuel pump.
Train to circular quay, about 5 stops, ferry to Manly, bus to Bowgolah. Arrive at Sue’s apartment!
The birds and insects make different sounds here! Parakeets live in the tree beyond the balcony.
This afternoon we walked 6 miles to the beach along a walkway and I swam in the sea in a sea water pool with waves crashing over the wall. It had a changing room and shower/ toilets, and I talked to an English lady.
Very exhausted now.
