Oops (TT451)

I took the tripod adaptor plate off my Canon M5 a couple of days back to find these nasty looking cracks in the base plate. 

Can't think of a one-off incident so it might be pulling the plate into the Capture Clip I use, or over-tightening the fixing bolt?

Much as I like repairing things - I'd prefer not to have to in this case.

Not on the theme,  but fairly tiny?

Thanks for your continued comments re Gill - she has had the various tubes removed today and no longer looks like the Borg are trying to assimilate her :-)

Mono Monday review is in progress, 7 screens worth, so it will take me a while!
