Lupins

The river bank here beside the famous salmon River Spey is covered with many beautiful flowers including these colourful wild lupins. Just beyond can be seen the old bridge near Grantown which was constructed as part of the Wade roads built in 1754 to quell any potential disturbances after the Jacobite Rebellions.
