Shadow.

I went into the lounge today, the sun was beautifully bright and there were some wonderful shadows on the wall. I went to get my phone camera, and as is the way these days .... Forgot to come back with it! When I did remember the shadows had disappeared and I was left with this one.

This is our old standard lamp that I chalk painted when 'shabby chic' was the in thing. Not sure if it's still in or not, but I may keep the lamp for now, after all, it's part of our history. We've had the lamp for many, many years.

Spent the afternoon at my friends house. Good to catch up.

Camera club tonight. It's a split evening where we can choose between  an external competition held on Zoom, or a meet up in the hall. Got a feeling most may opt for a night in front of the fire and Zoom! I'm committed to the tea urn, so will have to drag myself out.
