Lovely hibiscus syriacus...

Ah, the lovely, woody, tree form hibiscus syriacus has burst into bloom in the last couple of days. Truly, not a flower to be seen and today at least half dozen. I bought this three years ago as such a tiny rooted cutting I didn't know if it would make it and today it is a tree taller than me! Gorgeous. The softest lavender with a hankie dashed with pink in the middle. It is so beautiful there simply are no words...
