Demolition and repair.

Demolition of a local 1960s college has restarted. It’s been coming down in phases. My wife was a course tutor here at one point in her career. I lectured here periodically too. The adjacent new college opened January 2020; we went there for our first Covid jags.

Our kitchen tap needed a repair. A friend who previously fitted it popped over, right tools and know how, job done. We’d a coffee and chat. His further forthcoming hospital appointment and the Post Office scandal featured; we were both aware of some of the disgraceful background before it exploded into the News cycle.
