Glowing gorse

Some actual proper sunshine today!  Tim got out for a walk to the seafront while I was starting work - but then I managed to get out at lunchtime, for a walk to the Cairn.  Such a lovely break from work.

Good news from my Mum today, that she was finally being transferred from hospital to respite care, having tested negative for Covid.  Phew!  She had to wait around for hours for the hospital transport though, and finally got there about 6pm.  We didn't hear anything from her after that - until gone 11:30pm, when she woke up to message us, saying that she'd fallen asleep after having her tea.  Bless her - a long, tiring day.
