Parting Shot

So yesterday was the first day I haven't taken a photograph for a very long time - much longer than my 510 blips. It was such a hectic day I didn't realise until this morning. At least it was hectic in a good way, at least mostly.

Anyway today is the day before the step-son'r 18th birthday so I made the effort to get away from London early and catch the train to Leamington from Marylebone so I could make a family meal out.

I took this picture walking to the train, put the D-LUx in my bag....and when I got off the train it had developed a zoom system error rendering it unable to start up.

So the question is, is it worth repairing it, or do I invest in a new camera?
