I delivered my second, completely different, best man's speech (will be billing them for double my usual fee), the bride changed into another equally alluring wedding dress, and the groom turned up appropriately dressed for a Randall and Hopkirk Deceased tribute evening.

So a grand time was had by all.

All that remains is for us to drag ourselves out of bed at 4.30am to get our early flight back to France - where Sunday lunch awaits us at the home of friends.
