Cheetah in the Long Grass

Off to London Town for my big little brother's big birthday, surely he's still far too young to be thirty?! I suppose that makes me old... Hey ho. Good times. Good to see Matt and Sue again, we've not seen them in far too long a time. Bean overcame his shyness almost immediately and monopolised Matt most of the afternoon. They played, mostly, lion racing, and cheetahs hiding in the long grass. Bear of course saw how much Bean loved his Uncle and decided that he too loved his Uncle Matt. So much so that by the time I'd managed to get them into pyjamas ready to go home Bear wanted a carry and a cuddle with his now beloved Uncle! During the afternoon we did get a few moments to make Matt his birthday present. It was a jellyfish. Lucky Matt!! It had tentacles and all. And is actually pretty cool - if it hadn't been quite so gale force in London it would have been quite happy dangling from the bamboo outside!
