Icy

Melted snow turned into ice and then this afternoon the freezing rain has made my deck a sheet of ice; that is as far as I can see without going outside. I am not going further until the warmer temperatures arrive; the prediction is that we will be out of the deep freeze tomorrow afternoon. The two-week forecast is for normal weather, with no more freezing temperatures. I am grateful we have not lost electricity and I have no reason to go anywhere; there was no school today so I couldn't volunteer in Ellie's classroom.
