Taxi...

Is this your typical Edinburgh taxi? - not today it's not!

On my way to work this morning when this horn hooting balloon covered taxi drove passed. It was the annual taxi drivers run to Yellowcraigs beach for all the under privileged kids of Edinburgh. Each taxi is individually festooned with decorations and driven in convoy through the city tooting and hooting as they go.

The youngsters get taken out of the city for the day trip, taken for ice cream, fun at the beach and home, all funded by the taxi drivers

The kids love it.
