Just a pigeon ....

.... but the iridescent colours around it's neck are rather lovely.  They are gentle birds and do me a favour by eating all the discarded bits of sunflower hearts left by the messy eaters such as goldfinches!  Quite an interesting sky this afternoon as we neared the end of our walk.
