Burning the Midnight Oil

I began the day expecting to shoot some "Trumpet Vines" that I had seen earlier. I got busy and waited until it was almost evening before I went back there to shoot, only to find they were pretty wilted or well past their prime.

Since tonite is the night for the Super Moon, I thought that would be my fall back shot. The results that I got were far from stellar.

So, taking camera in hand, I walked outside in the dark and shot a night-time shot of the house...in the dark...hand held at 1/6th of a second!! Yes! I could have just gone inside and grabbed a tripod, but what fun would that be!!
