Swinging in the trees

Not exactly swinging but high up in the tree top of one of the huge oak trees opposite our house.  These trees have been dropping branches every time we have had windy weather for a while now.  It looks as if the Council have decided they need tidying up.

We got home at about 11.30 pm last night.  The roads were fine up as far as Moffat when it suddenly become slippy and snowy.  The highlight was when a hare in its winter white coat ran across the road in front of us.  Strangely we didn’t come across another car in the entire 33 miles between Moffat and Peebles
