Frog on ice

Another bitterly cold day, -6C when we left this morning to go to our group meeting.  But no snow, although a thick frost.  The snow has been mostly in the north of Scotland and the north of England. Lots of ice around though and some very slippery pavements. 

The lady who spoke to us this morning called her talk 'Made in Scotland' and told us about a lot of the things, mainly foodstuffs, that had been made here.  It was fairly interesting, although she read from a script which was a bit off putting, a lot of information given too quickly to really digest.  However, volunteers are always welcome and cannot be too hard on them.  Nice chat at the break.

Had a haircut in the afternoon so feeling a bit neater.  And had some lovely news that my sister in Sweden has just become a Great Grandmother;  the baby is a little girl but no name as yet.

The frog didn't seem at all bothered by the ice!!!!
