Even the swans were finding it tough

Called in at St Ives on my way to the garden centre to replenish my rock salt. It was bitterly cold and icy so I didn’t walk far. Felt sorry for the swans who were having difficulty getting about.
Had a coffee and bowl of carrot and coriander soup at the garden centre for lunch.
