Proud Mum…

…moment…

Dale sent me this photo of the team after they removed an infected eye from a hawk. Normally at the sanctuary the vets are the surgeons and the anaesthetists so they were really pleased that Dale is trained in bird anaesthesia! She also sent me a video of her in action which was sooooooo cool! I never get to see her in action as a vet nurse so it was a very proud moment!

The staff will see if it can hunt and fend for itself over the next few weeks. If not, it will stay at the sanctuary.
