The Freezer

Temps finally reached 38’ F today after starting out at 9’F this morning. The roads were still slick and terrible this evening. But so beautiful!!
I finally felt like getting out a little. Good thing! The horses decided to go down the road to the neighbors house. We had to go bring them back. The hill before our driveway was so slick that Molly barely made it up. Luckily she wasn’t hurt and we finally got them back into the pasture. It was good to feel like being out for a little while. We turned the chickens and guineas out for a little while so they could enjoy the sun a bit.
Then I made lamb chilli. It is so good.
