Pen-y-Fan

I was lucky enough to be invited down to join the Birthday crowd on Tuesday evening in their swanky woodland lodge in the Brecon Beacons, with the aim of climbing Pen-y-Fan on Wednesday. Work were good enough to give me some annual leave at the last minute and so off I went!

Pen-y-Fan has been on my list for years and so it was a joy to climb it today with dad and Richard in some pretty cool conditions. It was one of those joyous mountain days where the weather changes minute by minute. A couple of hairy moments up too but worth it for the incredible views.
