Clara St - East

Before phone books there were post office directories that listed residents by suburb and street as well as alphabetically. Streets were east or west, north or south sides. You could imagine someone walking first up one side of the street, then the other, knocking on doors. Not many of the Easts and Wests survive.

I went for a late swim, not late enough on a warm sunny day.
