SITTING ON THE DOCK OF THE BAY

It was Sally's funeral today, my second this week. This time it was in a beautiful village church which I must go back to and explore, preferably on a day of wonderful sunshine like today. The church was full and it was a fitting celebration of her life. After I'd dropped my passengers back home I took a very quick turn alongside the Marina, where lots of cormorants were catching the late sun including these three. I love the colour of their eyes.
