Challenge

Yesterday my wife asked me to photograph her latest textile picture - hand made felt, mounted behind glass.

Simple I thought, until I found every combination of camera position and lighting ended up with reflections in the photo, either the lights or me or the camera itself.

Finally this morning I (almost) managed it - hung the picture against a black cloth and lit at 45 degrees from the side. - Almost because I then had a highly lit area on the black frame, solved this by simply cropping the frame off and replacing it digitally in the computer

Good to have an indoor shot today - outside it is raining too hard even to go out, even just for a walk never mind taking the camera.
