Gritting Pavements

More snow, more sunshine, more cold, more winter. 

Up early, chores done.  Met friend Julie for walkies this morning.  Back home to warm up, telly and jigsaw.  Met Julie again in the afternoon.  More of a silly walk, jumping in the snow and being bairns again.   A quiet evening at home, fire on.  Sammy hasn't wanted out again, that might change.

It's not just the snowfall that's causing all the problems, the drifts with the winds are too.  The road men are doing a grand job clearing the roads, but they are filling in again just as fast.  This guys have been busy gritting the pavements around the village, and thankfully not been as deep here compared to other places.  Looking north from Castle Street, Scalloway.
