What I love about being a parent

After a very very long wait, child #2 finally had friends round for a sleepover. After going to see the film which in her words she has 'been waiting to see all her life', despite it being released two days ago in some cinemas, she and her friends came back and played with bears, something I had sort of forgotten about in these days dominated possibly by other interests. It is lovely to see the interaction of the girls and I am so glad that her time has come to entertain. I rather suspect that more of these soirees will be coming up pretty soon.

Oh and I managed to destroy about 100 more flour weevils and the number one son confirmed our two day suspicions with fully blown chicken pox, yay, chicken pox flour weevil, thank goodness it was this weekend and not next ...
