Create a life that feels good on the inside, not one that just looks good on the outside. I'm a pretty happy lady with my life, and just I'm just rather happy with how my life has gone this year. I don't think I would change anything at all bar creating a teleporter so I could see all of my friends all the time, and everything that has happened this year so far has really turned out for the best. In a bit of a contemplative mood today for some reason, not going to lie, but in a happy way rather than sad!

Our day today was surprise, surprise, more cleaning! Finished off the awful van from yesterday then were pleasantly surprised by two others which were a lot nicer than expected! The day finished with us going down to the pool in the sunshine, playing on the slides and generally acting like children...singing "Hey Boobs" to the tune of "Hey Jude", as both of us were worried about flashing small children while jumping to get the ball! The final verses actually work in quite well without having to change the words...

A quick trip to the boulangerie in Fousnant nearly ended in disaster as Jen decided the best place to point her bike would be at a tree, so had a little interlude where Jen recovered her wits and put the chain back on her bike. She still has no idea why she decided to get a little more intimate with said tree. While she was doing that, I went and took a few photographs, loving friend that I am. However, the trip was a success, with cakes and bread for the evening as Jen was feeling a little down as she was missing her cousin's wedding to work out here. Apart from that, our evening was spent waiting for an arrival...playing dominoes, cleaning our van (it is spotless now!) and listening to music...the only problem being that they haven't arrived. Hopefully they just decided to stay an evening in Caen rather than something serious, but we haven't been told any news yet on the situation and there is nothing on the file. On verra!
