A red, red rose

If only it were Valentine's Day. This bloom is at its best stage today in my opinion. 

Now to my yesterday's blip, abstract Thursday - Viewpoint, hosted as always by Ingeborg: with the macro lens on the camera, I put it at one end of a kitchen grater with the idea of having some of the holes in the metal in focus. What I'd taken revealed some vegetable matter left behind and reflected. More a comment on my washing up skills than my creativity.
