Meadow Pipit

The cold snap continues so a lovely frost coated everywhere this morning, sparkling against the sunny blue skies that lured me out for a wander!

Ended up at the nature reserve and very glad I did as there was so much to see! This lovely meadow pipit, skylarks, fieldfares, stonechats, reed bunting, robins, goldfinches, yellowhammer - all the littler birds were out to play and loving the cold!

One of those days you're glad to get outside, and that the first cup of tea you have when you get back home tastes even sweeter!!
