Waiting for…..

I’ve spent a good part of the day in a hospital. Having spent my life working in the NHS I’m no stranger to them.
However, today I was on the other side of the fence as a patient. So it was information gathering, blood tests, vital signs and EEG.
They must have discovered a discernible pulse because I was given the all clear for an operation in two weeks time.
