Frosty fly

I saw this fly quite early this morning sitting on the patio table looking as though it were carrying a little load of ice on its back (see extra). Later on when I checked up on it, the ice had melted and there were just droplets left on its back. It is now just sitting there in the weak afternoon sunshine but I have my doubts as to whether it will every fly again. It has the winter blues!
