Summer muesli with strawberries

I find it easy to leave out bread, although a proper sourdough is a marvellous thing once in a while. However, oats is another matter. I normally use the whole grout, soaked, but I also like to make bircher muesli with the chewy wholegrain flakes.

Woke up to the sound of wind and heavy rain during the night, and turned over comforted by the fact that I had prepared a bowl of hearty oats before going to bed. I also had a bowl of spiced up strawberries marinating. On this cool and blustery Sunday morning, so glad I had this waiting for me at breakfast.
