Hemp Leaf

Wow... I did it!  What a stunning pattern and really not that difficult to sew when given clear instructions!  It is a really good reinforcing stitch for hard wearing areas and I can see why. I really feel like my stitching is getting better doing a little every day.. this one was quite a lot but generally it is less than an hour of my day. (this one 4) Since I have to sit a good part of the day resting my foot it gives me huge enjoyment to be producing these little squares. 
The sun has shone and the three houses around us had a gardener in two and the other a noisy bunch of builders.. it has not been a quiet day around us. 
Still signs of frost on the grass and on north sides of buildings so I am happy to be able to be warm inside today
