Friday - hurrah!

I’m glad to see the end of the week - mainly because of the travel angst. It was minus 7 again this morning, and the lanes have gotten progressively worse as the week has gone on. I think water drains from the fields in the midday sun and adds another layer to the ice in the evening. It’s one thing managing my own anxiety, but I’m also very anxious about ZQ driving through the lanes to Uckfield; he has only been driving for 5 weeks. He is a lot braver than I was when I was a new driver.

Nice to see the sun again today, however, and tomorrow is looking pleasant.
