Blooming 'eck

I'm not the most green fingered of gardeners.  Plants look at me and think they'd rather die than let me look after them.  But every now and again, I fool one.

Some friends gave us this miniature orchid some time ago.  It had blooms on it but after they died back, it put out another flower spike which looked at me and said 'Nah'.  But I got the better of this one.  I looked after it and gave it water when it needed it and another spike grew and this is how it rewarded me this morning.
