Once this was the jewel in Cheltenham’s department stores’ crown. By April it will have gone the same way as Edinburgh’s Binns and Jenner’s and many others across the land. While we were in town today we went in to find it was already closing departments and packing up displays. Then the fire alarm went off and we had to leave quickly. The store remained closed for the rest of the day.
