Been to the IMAX in Manchester this evening to see a concert film...Queen Rock  in Montreal.

Filmed in 1981, long before any of today's gadgetry and gizmos, big amps, speakers and lights, bigger cameras, a leads all over the shop.

All gaffer taped together.

81 was about half way through their career, so half the hits had yet to be written. More of a rock band, but still put on a show.

4 guys on stage, no one else filling in, no gaps, tight as a nut. Big playing by all 4, and that voice on top of it all.
