Ice fishing

Having read Tweedy's blip about the Forth river being frozen in Stirling  I checked out the Allan Water, a tributary to the Forth. Sure, enough under the Allanwater bridge stood our regular heron deep in snow surrounded by patches of ice. While the streets and road are now clear there are still chunks  alongside the river banks.
