Frosty village morning

I had to pop to the GP surgery today for a regular blood test, my last one being two years ago. I looked in on Basil and Blue for a coffee afterwards and liked the look of the frosty path alongside the cricket pitch. The coffee was very welcome on such a chilly morning and it went down well with a bakewell slice. We've also found a new plumber, thanks to our postman, and he came round this morning and sorted out problems we were still having with the heating. Very timely given how cold it's been today. And then I started on the candidate reports from this week's interviews. Must get out for a longer walk tomorrow although they're now forecasting strong winds and rain.
