Cuban Garbanzo Soup

Cuban garbanzo soup. Wine: Andrew Murray Grenache 2021.

I have loved this style of soup since childhood (we had a fair amount of Cuban food in the Tampa Bay area of Florida). I've been making it myself following this recipe for at least 20 years now. It will be even better tomorrow, but I can't wait to start it. Fortunately there will be plenty of leftovers.
