2024 Thursday — Construction Next Door

Next door the deck on the third story is being enlarged and a small inside room will become part of the outside deck but the roof over that portion will remain.

A large tree/shrub between our two houses has been removed (see it in the upper left photo) to accommodate the column that will support the deck extension. Removing the tree gave us more view. We are delighted it is gone.

Construction noise is short term. We think our privacy won’t change much, but answers to these thoughts are unknown still.

I hope that makes sense.
